Beth is a long-term survivor of cancer, as was her late mother and late grandfather, all treated at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Years prior to her diagnosis, Beth led national-reach breast health and cancer survivorship advocacy programs. In her roles as a professional Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and as a volunteer, she’s headed campaigns netting more than $200 million for arts, education, and health care organizations — with a significant portion earmarked for aid to cancer patients and survivors.
A longstanding passion for fashion design sparked Beth’s first businesses in the luxury retail industry and later, her studied collection and preservation of textiles and vintage haute couture.
During her career, she’s served as curator or producer of numerous fashion exhibitions of European haute couture and fine American designing dating 1900 through 2000.

“
No one talked about cancer 40 years ago; it was a secret disease, and I felt very alone. By creating a digitally-based charity solely to support cancer survivors, Beth has changed that dynamic. I’m a great admirer of hers. I’m thankful for her work.
